Travel from Marrakech to Fez the scenic way. This shared tour follows the Road of the Kasbahs to the Sahara, adds a full day around Merzouga and finishes through the Ziz Valley and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas.

Itineraries
Day 1
Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Valley of Roses / Tinghir
Departure over the Tizi n'Tichka pass, an argan oil cooperative and the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Night in a hotel in the Valley of Roses or Tinghir.
Day 2
Valley of Roses / Tinghir – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga
Todra Gorge, Erfoud and Merzouga. Camel ride at sunset and night in a Berber camp in the dunes.
Day 3
Nomad families – M'fis mines – Khamlia – Merzouga
Tea with a nomad family, the old M'fis mines and Gnawa music in Khamlia. Dinner and night in a hotel by the dunes.
Day 4
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fez
Breakfast and drive north through the Ziz Valley palm groves, Midelt and the cedar forest of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques, with a stop in Ifrane. Arrival in Fez in the late afternoon.
- Pick-up at your riad or hotel, or the nearest accessible point.
- Shared air-conditioned minibus with a professional driver.
- Half board: dinners and breakfasts.
- 1 night in a hotel in the Valley of Roses or Tinghir and 1 night in a hotel by the Merzouga dunes, in private rooms with bathroom.
- Camel ride at sunset and sunrise.
