Check the entry requirements for your nationality before travelling to Morocco. This is general information; rules can change, so always confirm with the Moroccan consulate or your own foreign ministry.
UK, US, Canada, Australia and EU travellers
- Citizens of the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and EU countries do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days.
- You need a passport valid for your whole stay. National ID cards are not accepted for entry.
Other nationalities
Many countries are visa-exempt for short tourist stays, while others need a visa or can apply for Morocco’s electronic visa (eVisa) if they meet certain conditions. Check your case well in advance.
Vaccinations
There are generally no compulsory vaccinations for Morocco. Ask your doctor or a travel clinic for advice, especially if you have a medical condition or plan to visit rural areas.
Travel insurance
Not mandatory, but strongly recommended: good insurance covers medical care, accidents, cancellations and lost luggage.
