Shared tours are the most affordable way to reach the Sahara. You travel in an air-conditioned minibus with other travellers from around the world, with a local driver and a ready-made itinerary: all you need to do is book your seat.
Every route includes the night in a Berber camp, the camel ride at sunset and sunrise, and breakfasts and dinners. You can start in Marrakech or Fez and finish in the same city or the other one.

Frequently asked questions
Why do some tours have two prices?
The “from” price is for the Comfort camp category (private tent, shared bathrooms). The Superior category has a tent with a private bathroom and costs a little more.
Can I start in Marrakech and finish in Fez?
Yes. There are shared routes from Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga and from Fez to Marrakech, so you never have to backtrack.
What should I pack?
Comfortable clothes, a warm layer for the desert night (even in summer), sunscreen, sunglasses and a small backpack for the camp night.
